Mental Wellness, not Mental Illness.

How can Mindsett help?

At Mindsett, we do things differently. This isn’t a stuffy clinic where you feel like a chart number. We’re a boutique practice that blends psychiatry, coaching, and wellness support — because your mental health deserves more than quick fixes.

Here’s what we actually do:

  • Medication management (done thoughtfully, not rushed).

  • Support for women’s issues like hormones, transitions, and burnout.

  • De-prescribing when less is more.

  • Life coaching for the messy middle seasons (career, parenting, relationships).

  • Wellness retreats + groups for connection and real-life healing.

We’re especially passionate about supporting women — but yes, we see men too, and we love our guys. Mental health doesn’t discriminate, and neither do we.

At the end of the day, we’re here to help you feel steady, supported, and more like yourself — without the shame, stigma, or medical gaslighting. Can you imagine? It's great over here!

My goal is to truly change traditional psychiatry into Mental Wellness that takes into account the complete picture of your overall health.

My goal is simple: to take psychiatry out of the box and put you back at the center.

I don’t just look at symptoms; I look at your whole life — hormones, stress, sleep, relationships, all of it. Because your mental health isn’t one-dimensional, and your care shouldn’t be either.

Homework

This is where we get to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s going on, your history, and what you want to feel different. No clipboards or cold stares — just real conversation.

Your plan is personal. It might include medication, lifestyle tweaks, therapy, or a mix of all three. My job? To find what actually works for you — not just what looks good on paper.

Yep, there’s homework. But it’s not essays — it’s life stuff: better sleep, boundaries, finding joy again. Little changes that add up to you feeling human again, not just surviving.

Natalie Desseyn and her children
Who is Natalie Desseyn, MSN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC?

Hi, I’m Natalie — double board-certified nurse practitioner, professional plate-spinner, and mom of two who knows firsthand how wild and exhausting life can get. I specialize in women’s mental health because I live it right alongside you. Hormones, burnout, transitions, the endless “what’s for dinner?” loop — I see you, and I built Mindsett to be a place where you don’t have to hold it all together by yourself.

I mix traditional psychiatry (yes, meds have their place) with holistic tools that actually fit into a busy woman’s real life. My goal? To help you feel steady, capable, and like yourself again — not some watered-down version running on fumes.

When I’m not working with patients, you’ll find me laughing with my kids, binging a good docuseries, or blasting music in the car like therapy on wheels.
